El PP dice que enmienda sobre catalán es para dar «más seguridad jurídica» y Vox celebra que «pierdan miedo»

Cañadas celebrates that it was the PP that presented the amendment: «A result of convincing them that we must lose the fear»

The PP has indicated that the amendment to eliminate the requirement of Catalan in healthcare has been presented in the law of residential strategic projects to provide «more legal security» as «it is better to be in a law» than in a decree law, as it currently is.

This is what the ‘popular’ spokesperson, Sebastià Sagreras, said in the press conference after the Spokespersons’ Board on Wednesday, after being asked about the statements of the spokesperson for MÉS per Mallorca, Lluís Apesteguia, who questioned the introduction of the amendment because they «believe they did not do it quite right.»

It is an amendment, as Sagreras explained, identical to those presented by Vox in other legislative processes and, in this case, it is presented by the PP although it is agreed with those of Santiago Abascal. «We are absolutely sure and proud of what we have done in healthcare,» he stated.

On the other hand, the Vox spokesperson, Manuela Cañadas, has celebrated that it was the ‘popular’ parliamentary group that presented the amendment and not Vox. «A result of negotiations and convincing them that we must lose the fear,» she emphasized.
