The PP has incorporated insular reality and demographic pressure into its national roadmap.
In a press release, the PP Balearic Islands has reported that it has submitted amendments to the resolutions of the XXI National Congress of the Popular Party to include insularity and overpopulation, thus contributing to the reality of the islands.
«These proposals have been fully accepted and both issues have been incorporated into the resolutions,» explained the Secretary General of the PP Balearic Islands, Sandra Fernández, on the second day of the congress, where the Political and Statute Resolutions were debated and approved.
It will be during the afternoon of this Saturday when Alberto Núñez Feijóo will offer his presentation speech for the candidacy for the national presidency of the Popular Party. In this regard, Fernández highlighted the importance of «leading a solid project so that Spain has an honest government, that regains trust and improves our public services and administrations, and, above all, leaves behind seven years of widespread corruption of the PSOE, which is a national and international shame.»
«Spaniards, and especially the citizens of the Balearic Islands, deserve much more. Including insularity and actions against overpopulation demonstrates the firm commitment of the Popular Party in this fight for improving well-being.
