The Guardia Civil has detained a woman as the alleged perpetrator of the theft of a Rolex watch and 900 euros in Sa Pobla (Mallorca), at the house where she was doing cleaning duties.
According to a press release from the Benemérita, a report was filed last week for the theft of a Rolex watch and 900 euros in cash at a residence in the town of Sa Pobla.
The victim stated that the morning before the report was filed, the now detained woman arrived at his home, where she was hired to clean the house, and she was left alone while the man ran errands.
Upon returning to the house that same afternoon, he noticed that part of the money, 900 out of the 1,500 euros he had hidden in a drawer, had disappeared, as well as a high-end watch.
After receiving the report, officers from the Guardia Civil located the woman and she refused to make a statement about the events, so she was arrested.
