«To menstruate without shedding a drop,» she wrote in response to a post about a supposed system for trans women to menstruate.
The coordinator of Unidas Podemos in the Balearic Islands, Lucía Muñoz, has accused the President of the Parliament, Gabriel Le Senne (Vox), of spreading misinformation about trans people on his Telegram channel.
«In case anyone had any doubts: transphobia is fascism. Le Senne is not only a fascist, a climate change denier, and anti-vaccine, but also spreads misinformation about trans people,» Muñoz wrote on her X social media account.
Despite all this, she lamented, he remains in his position thanks to the President of the Government, Marga Prohens, and the PP of the Balearic Islands.
In a statement, Podemos has condemned the «spread of misinformation about trans people» by Le Senne by echoing a «right-wing» account on the X social network.
This account posted a message about a supposed new method of vaginal bleeding that would allow trans women to simulate menstruation and its symptoms. Le Senne shared it on his Telegram channel, which has 141 subscribers.
«To menstruate without shedding a drop,» wrote the President of the regional Chamber accompanying the link to the aforementioned post on the social network, as reported by elDiario.es Baleares and verified by Europa Press. The message was sent at 16:12 on Tuesday, shortly after the end of the Parliament session he chaired.
«This information is false, despicable, and is intended to promote hatred and transphobia,» defended Muñoz, who considered it «disgusting» that Le Senne «targets trans people who already suffer unbearable discrimination and inequality.»
The councilor in the City Council of Palma reiterated her party’s commitment to defending the rights of trans people, especially at a time of «reaction and rise of transphobia that threatens to overturn the trans law in the Constitutional Court.»
THE TELEGRAM CHANNEL
Le Senne’s Telegram channel, which he describes as a «personal store of data, ideas, and reflections,» is used by the President of the Parliament to share various posts.
For example, on Tuesday, he shared statements from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, denouncing a supposed «genocide» against white people in South Africa; a post from Vox MEP Herman Tersch calling to stop the «mafia» of renewable energies; and another about leaked messages between the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, and former Minister of Transport José Luis Ábalos.
In previous days, he has shared posts about the appointment of the new Pope — where he is called «anti-socialist» — messages from Trump and the President of Argentina, Javier Milei, or news warning of new power outages in Great Britain, among many other things.
