A Palma court has ordered the provisional imprisonment of two out of the five men arrested on Monday in the anti-drug operation carried out by the National Police in the La Soledad neighborhood of Palma.
The judge, who was on duty for detainees this afternoon, made the decision several hours after the detainees were brought before him on Tuesday afternoon accused of crimes against public health.
The Court has ordered the provisional imprisonment of at least two of them, while the procedural situation of the remaining three is currently unknown, as reported by sources close to the investigation to Europa Press.
The Police arrested all of them during the operation carried out on Monday in La Soledad following an investigation by the Drugs and Organized Crime Unit (Udyco) of the Superior Police Headquarters of the Balearic Islands conducted over several months.
The agents searched four residences, one of which was used as a drug distribution point, and seized more than a kilo of cocaine and 274 marijuana plants.
