La Guardia Civil has taken over the investigation of the events, the circumstances of which are still unknown

A 20-year-old young man has died this Tuesday in the town of Sa Coma, in the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Mallorca, after being attacked with a bladed weapon.
According to SAMU 061, the incident took place around 5:50 p.m. at the Teixos building.
Emergency services received a report that a young man had been attacked with a bladed weapon in the chest.
Over the phone, they instructed the witness on how to start cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, which were later continued by the paramedics when they managed to reach the scene.
Despite their efforts, they were unable to revive the victim and confirmed his death. A psychologist from the emergency services had to attend to those present.
A Civil Guard patrol has been dispatched to the scene, gathering preliminary information while waiting for the arrival of the officers from the Judicial Police unit, who have taken over the investigation.
According to sources from the Armed Institute cited by Europa Press, the events took place at the victim’s front door, a 20-year-old Spanish national.
At the moment, the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack are unknown, and the authorities still have no information about a possible suspect or suspects. The bladed weapon used in the homicide has also not been located.
The investigators are conducting the corresponding on-site inspection and reviewing security cameras near the location to gather more information about the potential perpetrator, the sources mentioned.
They are also questioning the person who found and tried to revive the victim, as well as those living in the residence in front of where the incident occurred and any potential witnesses.
It is expected that a judicial team will travel to Sa Coma later in the afternoon to proceed with the removal of the body, which will be taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy.
